Arkansas
Tax Deed Sales
Arkansas sells tax deeds
through the State. Each quarter,
tax sales are scheduled in
various counties usually
adjacent to one another so that
the individuals from the Land
Commission can travel from one
county to another. Sometimes two
auctions are held in the same
day: one at 10:00 AM in one
county and another at 2:00 PM in
an adjacent county.
The winning bidder pays the
most. The winning bidder is
responsible for the amount bid
plus the taxes owed. You must
come with a $100 cashier's
check, money order or cash. The
remaining amount can be paid by
personal check.
Arkansas is a great state to
invest in tax deeds because most
land is still affordable and
many areas are beautiful.
Having said that, most Arkansas
counties and cities allow for
agricultural businesses, such as
chicken or pig farms to be
located in residential areas. In
addition, it is not uncommon to
find areas where nice houses are
situated next to broken down
trailer homes or unkempt
properties.

did an excellent job putting
together all of the information.

Tax Lien Certificates Book
Already finished reading your
portion and really enjoyed it. I'm
going to be making some foreclosure
connections this week as well as
checking on the other deed sales in
nearby counties. I'm starting to
believe this is something that can
really be done and not just
something that people buy books and
classes about.
