Tax Deed Sales
Nevada sells tax deeds through
trustee sales. The county
acquires the certificates for
two years during which the
previous owner can still redeem.
If not redeemed, tax deeds are
issued to the county and held in
trust by the State. The Board of
County Commissioners can then
order a tax sale.
In
some counties, special
assessment sales are held using
a tax lien process. For more
